Amanda Crider – Mezzo-Soprano

Guest Speaker Amanda Crider (MM ’01), Mezzo-Soprano soloist and recitalist, joins us to discuss her career, founding a nonprofit, grant writing, and more. Amanda is the Founder of IlluminArts, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with museums, galleries, and other community organizations to present curated, site-specific programs of music. She has performed with many prestigious ensembles including the Grammy-nominated Seraphic Fire, and is Executive Director of the Grammy-winning vocal band Roomful of Teeth.

She founded the Harmony Program while working as a policy advisor in the administration of New York City Mayor Michael R.
